The boarding process was speedy for us as we had priority being in a junior suite, however I did notice long queue's for those not so fortunate.

On arrival in the cabin we were disappointed with the dated and tacky decor, couldn't see any signs of the recent refurbishment other than a new toilet and wash basin. However the most upsetting thing was the absence of the pre-booked cot and high chair for the baby. There then started a 5 hour process to try and get these items into the cabin, three trips to customers service and numerous phone calls, it was just before lifeboat drill around 5pm before we had a cot.The baby was unable to have any sleeps because of this and was so distressed that she did not eat for the next 24 hours and cried constantly. We were planning to leave the ship at the next port, but fortunately things settled down after some sleep the next day. The nursery is not open on the first night and as we had only been able to get 2nd sitting we were now faced with the problem of a screaming baby and 8.30pm dinner. We rang customer service to book a baby sitter and were told we had to book 24 hours in advance (before boarding????). After a heated discussion with customer service they managed to send someone to the cabin so that we could eat.

Once the nursery opened, we were very pleased with the staff there and the general set up and cleanliness, the toy library is marvellous and we borrowed toys and returned them each day. We also took all the food for our 1 year old, as there is no children's menu.
