We embarked from NYC. It was fast and easy. We arrived at 11:30, checked our baggage, proceeded through security, checked in, had our E-Docs, passbooks scanned, picture taken, set up our on board account, received our cabin key card, did a photo op, and boarded the ship. We were on board by 12:00. This total process took about 30 min.
When we boarded the ship we were greeted by crew members who gave us damp towels to wipe our brow. The crew members were very cheerful and dancing to the music.
Once on board we proceeded to the buffet on Deck 12 for lunch. The food was ok but not great. We only ate there once.
Cabin 8120: Handicap accessible/Cat.OK. Because of its layout the cabin seemed larger than it was. Plenty of storage, a very large bathroom, with a walk-in shower, and pull down shower seat. Plus plenty of safety bars. The cabin a a king size bed, a bunk bed, large picture window, fridge, safe, tv, and a ramp to get into the bathroom. One major drawback, was that the ramp was the same color as the flooring, hard to see. My wife tripped over it once, and slipped going down causing injury to her right ankle. This happened on the last day of the cruise. The ramp should be a different color and texture than rest of the flooring.
Except for the mishap, cabin 8120 was a great cabin.
