After a trouble free and efficient registration and embarkation (we arrived at the dock around midday)we spent the first couple of hours on board having a bite to eat and an explore whilst waiting for our cabin to be ready. Around 3pm we were able to go to the cabin and shortly thereafter our bags were delivered.
The cabin was a standard sized balcony cabin, what you'd expect these days. Bathroom was a bit pokey, but the bed was comfortable, and we had adequate wardrobe and drawer space for a weeks clothing.
Our cabin was midships,on deck 9, and the balcony looked down on the lifeboats, possibly a forward or aft cabin would have been a better choice.
Typical balcony cabin with poky bathroom. Balcony overlooks lifeboats. Very comfortable bed. No noise problems. Plenty of hanging and drawer space for a week's clothes.
