Interior (1V) Cabin Reviews

We chose an interior cabin based on price and past history. We like it dark and quiet and this trip did not disappoint. Small, yes, but very livable for a week. Also, very smooth in rough seas.

The Great Gatsby dining room is on the opposite side of the ship but the Grandeur is small enough that the walk is good. No complaints about our little slice of Heaven except the bathroom has a smell. Not a stinky human smell - just smells like a bathroom. Suitcases fit under the bed, drawer space was fine. Read Less

The cabin was tight but functional. The setup, when we arrived, was two single beds separated. We immediately told our cabin steward (Rodolfo) and he told us they would be pushed together by evening. And they were. it was very tight getting in and out of bed on my side. My wife had good access in and out of bed. Lots of lighting options (one light on each side of bed...two overhead room lights...good lights by the drawers and good light in the head. Plenty of closet and drawer space and room to stow the luggage out of the way. Mirrors everywhere...by bed, on wall opposite bed, by the chest of drawers and in head. Royal uses a weighted curtain for the shower. One must be careful or the head will be flooded. We are used to having a.balcony and did miss it somewhat. Having an inside room was good at getting us out and about. We would do an inside Royal room again. A little tight but very doable. Read Less
