Crusing Costa is a unique experience. Passengers speak many languages but the staff speak good English and are helpful in every way. The shows in the theater are all in English and ours were excellent. We took a 24 day transatlantic with great ports. The ship is slightly dated but very clean and comfortable. The service was excellent. Its great for ballroom dancers .Large dancefloor and good music. ...

Costa -Deliziosa Our 11-day cruise (February 21, 2019) generally was made most enjoyable by the crew. Very helpful, pleasant & happy to serve you. Everybody spoke English as well as two or three other languages as well, so there was always someone to help you as needed. This was a very International passenger list as the 11 days thru the Western Caribbean was the intro trip to the repositioning ...

Regardless of poor reviews that we read, we embarked on the Costa Deliziosa due to provided price discounts (~70%) for 2 x 10 consecutive days. And, the following is our personal opinion: 1. Food and its variety was very good in taste and the quality terms. Except: a) there was very poor choice of tropical & exotic fruits like Papaya (popular in Central America), Dragon, ...

We have sailed on 100+ cruises with 4 other cruises on Costa. We sailed on Costa Deliziosa on 12/19/18. This was a 7 nt cruise to Nassau, Gtand Turk, Amber Cove & Key West. Deliziosa is a beautiful ship, extremely clean and well organized. The staff provided excellent service. The food was generally very good. As on any ship, some nights were better than others. Very good pasta and pizza. ...

Here is a review for those who are wondering about trying Costa. There are not many reviews on this site for Costa. For the reviews that do exist the type of traveler that wrote them is unclear. We have traveled to Europe a half dozen times and loved it. We are only fluent in English but are perfectly comfortable traveling in non English speaking parts of the world. This was our ninth cruise, most ...

To meet up with Italian friends this was the perfect venue. Every evening the shows were especially entertaining: the tenor Emanuele Servidio is world class, worth taking the cruise just to hear his voice. The shows had amazing singing, dancing, production & lighting. Max, the cruise director, is hilarious-he speaks all the languages as fast as an auctioneer! The animation team has so ...

We chose this cruise for price & timing was good to get away on short notice. It offered 10 nights on an itinerary we love and have been to before. Belize & Roatan, Mexico and more! We have taken several cruises over the years and even worked on Carnival and Princess ships as entertainers for almost 9 years. We knew when booking this cruise it was not going to be high end, but, it was very ...

Grabbed this cruise first the balcony price was great and second for the opportunity to scuba dive in some warm waters, forget it about it! The strong cold front chased us all the way down to Belize, the only spot Millie and I got to get wet at, Grand Cayman and Roatan were weathered in. By the time we got to Cozumel both of us had congested heads. Must complain about the dive operation Cozumel ...

We loved the ship

Don't believe any bad reviews most of the complaints are from people who haven't cruised in a while and things have changed, not so much for free but this is the same on al cruises. We had such an exceptional cruise the only reason I couldn't give it a perfect score was there were a couple of tiny issues. 20 years ago we sailed on the Costa Victoria and loved it. This ship had an ...

I brought my elderly parents on a Cruise for New Years. We have been on other Costa ships before as well as the Norwegian Gem. I was very concerned when I saw the terrible reviews for this ship. Our previous experiences with Cost were quite good, so when I saw the very cheap price, I booked right away. Well, I was glad to see that the poor reviews were not reflective of our experience. ...
