Crusing Costa is a unique experience. Passengers speak many languages but the staff speak good English and are helpful in every way. The shows in the theater are all in English and ours were excellent. We took a 24 day transatlantic with great ports. The ship is slightly dated but very clean and comfortable. The service was excellent. Its great for ballroom dancers .Large dancefloor and good music. The lunch buffet offers a wide variety of food.Coffee and desserts were exceptional. The diningroom menu is very Italian. Some was very good but many meats and fish were overcooked. We learned how to order to fit our taste. Many shore excursions were reasonably priced although there is little information about the ports. We have taken several transatlantic cruises and this one had more activities, day and night, than any other . It is a FUN ship. We are looking forward to another Costa cruise in the future.
