This is the 4th time my husband and I have sailed on the Explorer, and its the first time I can honestly say I was very dissapointed. We hardly saw our room attendant to ask any questions, although our room was always cleaned for us. Hotel Information - We stayed on Staten Island at the Hampton Inn. Good staff and very affordable. They provided parking while we cruised, shuttle to and from the port, and breakfast in the morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. Be aware, that the pick of the shuttle for us was 45 minutes late. Other than that, we were happy with our experience.
