MSC Sinfonia to Portugeuse Islands - Shocking

Review for a Africa Cruise on MSC Sinfonia

We did the MSC cruise approximately 7 years ago and had a lovely experience, apart from the crew not being very helpful, so decided to do it once again this year. We were told by the cruise providers that they had streamlined their on boarding experience, which is entirely incorrect as we stood in a queue for more than 2 hours trying to get on the boat, and were harassed by photographs all the ...

We specifically chose this 3 night cruise instead of the 4 night one because it stated that it was going to stay at Mozambique for TWO days. Even though we had not been to the other island before that was on the itinerary for the 4 night cruise. Only to find out from the people living on the island that we are now forced to remain on the ship for the second day. Then after asking every staff ...

Some restaurant waiters are very rude and abrupt. All Maître d's are extremely unhelpful and ignore you. We received very bad service from our waiter who was an elderly Italian gentleman. All staff dont know what they are meant to know so if you ask one staff they will give you one answer but if you ask another they will give you a different answer. There was a compulsory drill but we could ...

My family and I travelled on the MSC Sinfonia this past Easter weekend. We had booked 7 rooms in total and what was mean't to be a great trip turned into the Cruise from hell! After travelling on Cruise Ships abroad, you would expect a certain level of service from MSC's Sinfonia Cruise-liner, this couldn't be further from the truth! Some of the highlights on the cruise ...

If you enjoy bad service, filth and bad food then this trip is for you. My wife, 3 yr old and myself went on the cruise to nowhere ex Durban on 29 Jan 2016. We booked a suite which was the only good part of the trip as it was large and luxurious with a balcony. However everything else was terrible. The worst was the hygiene. Cups were always stained with "stuff" encrusted at the bottom, on the ...

Disappointed and Disgusted

We were greeted by exceptionally long queues and frustrated people. We paid for "Fast track" as it is impossible to stand in a queue with a 3 year old child for 4 hours. Once inside the Fast track option was available but this just lead to another queue. Tried to explain to the staff that we have "Priority Boarding" because of our wedding package but they were not interested. We paid for excess ...
