I was advised against cruising on Costa lines and rightly so! The shower has no cold/hot water pressure regulators so you are either getting cold or scalding hot. The Mediterranea is a beautifully appointed ship. Marble everywhere including the salon floors. The food is wonderfully prepared and served by excellent waiters. Beautiful ship, nice inside cabin in great location. Live in Florida so drove down. The ports of call were some we hadn't been before. Very little information is provided to passengers. When you dock you have to go outside cabin to find out when you get off. Two ports were tender ports and it was a zoo getting off. Very poor system was used.
