This was about our 20 th cruise we haven't cruised for 3 years we couldn't believe how the standards have gone down with celebrity this is the second time with celebrity all our others have been with royal Caribbean From walking through the doors in Southampton they was pushing packages in your face & these were that over priced It was a joke Once onboard the hassle & pressure to buy ...

We chose this cruise mostly for the itinerary. Boston and NYC did not disappoint. The approach and sailaway from Mid-Town Manhattan were spectacular. Bermuda and Nassau were less wonderful. We had booked a private tour for six in a van for eight but the company (Winsome Tours) was a no show. Thanks to a "Taxi/Tour Marshal" at the dock we were able to call the number. We got the owner who was in ...

Celebrity Eclipse Cruise Critic Review TA October 29-November 13 We had an excellent cruise. The ship travelled the North Atlantic route so from Southhampton to Boston was rocky with decks closed several days. Surprisingly the rocky travel continued to Bermuda and beyond. We wonder if the Captain was traveling the shortest route to conserve fuel regardless of passenger comfort. Staff ...

Cabin was great. Dining was excellent. Had great wait staff who were very efficient and friendly. After the first night, they had our drinks waiting for us when we arrived. Food arrived hot and very quick. No problems with embarkation or debarkation..Both went very fast and efficient. The guest speakers were very interesting and if you get a chance to see Richard from the IT lounge go to ...

Celebrity Cruises – Broadway and Beaches cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse. – October 29th 2016 from Southampton to Miami - via Boston, New York, Bermuda and the Bahamas. This was our first experience with Celebrity cruises and so after reading all the cruise reviews and watching numerous ‘u-tube’ videos etc., we were expecting good things, particularly as the Celebrity Cruise Line is noted to be ...

My wife and I are very regular cruisers (two or three times a year) and mainly loyal to Celebrity which suits our lifestyle and who have an excellent loyalty program. We have sailed on most of the Celebrity fleet including Eclipse about 4 times previously. We had not done a transatlantic before so we gave it a whirl on Celebrity Eclipse as it included destinations Boston, New York, Bermuda, ...

Our first cruise with Celebrity Booked this as a way of getting my mother-in-law & sister-in-law to the USA without the side-effects of jet lag. Boarding: as we had special assistance, this was very smooth. We were in our cabins in about 30 minutes. Noted that luggage was loaded by rolling the cages onto a conveyor belt rather that using a fork lift truck we have seen in other ...

I was so excited to once again cruise. The check in went smoothly, but as soon as my feet pattered onto the ship, I was hit by employee after employee to buy a drink package, buy a specialty restaurant, by a message, by a spa package, buy buy buy. It was a very stressful situation for me, and I couldn't avoid them, they were everywhere. I felt trapped by solicitors! Wait a minute! I just bought ...

My son and I chose this cruise because I have cruised often on Celebrity and had been on the Eclipse before and liked it. I have made 132 cruises on various ships and at this time, think Celebrity is the most innovative and probably the best for the price. Also wanted days at sea. We liked the Lumana Restaurant that came with the suite and also Michael's Club for a quiet place to meet with ...

Beautiful Ship Hurt By Mediocre Crew/Services

The Good: The Eclipse is truly a very beautiful ship ...well designed, well appointed, very comfortable public areas, wonderful art/sculptures, conveying a feeling of luxury throughout ... with very good food in the dining room (not very much we found to be really outstanding, however) and a very well designed buffet, offering a wide variety of very tasty international and basic North American ...
