My family and I have traveled with Carnival Cruise Lines Several Times! The Carnival Vista had amazing staff members and ultimately made the difference in my review today! Here are some staff highlights for you! Casino Area: Jalena, Ruesso, Tamara and E Kutet (forgive me for butchering your name!)! Jalena and Tamara are complete sweet hearts, They got to know my family and even made us new ...
My family and I chose the Carnival Vista leaving out of Miami, because is was a new ship and a very big ship. We have been on Carnivals smaller ships and now we wanted to try the bigger ship. Also, we chose this ship because of the itinerary. The Vista went to Caribbean islands that we have never been to and wanted to see them, like Aruba, Curacao, La Romana, Dominican Republic. The only island ...
Embarkation in Miami was SO FAST and smooth.. We got in right at a sweet spot (2:30- 3 was my arrival time). Security didn't open our carry ons which amazed me bc we all brought on wine and 12 packs of sparkling water. We happened to have like no lines to get on the ship... it was a WOW experience which made up for horrible Miami traffic. We were all smiles!
They keys were in the mail box ...
I chose this cruise because it was the newest. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. The food was great! My favorites was Guys Buger and the Seafood Shack. The first day I ate myself sick. The Lobster rolls were delicious, the meat and the sweet toasted roll was to die for! Then I had the peel'em and eat'em Shimps, well seasoned. I couldn't get enough I had to go back and get the one ...
Have gone on many Carnival cruises to the point of now "gold" status. Always enjoyed with very few if any disappointments in the past, but this time. . . Wow! Before we even received our bags to our room the steward knocked at our cabin door to ask when is best time to clean our rooms, upon doing so he changed the subject to accuse me and my boyfriend of smoking in our room and was threatening ...
To preface this review, we'll go on record that three of our first six cruises were on Carnival. We’ve been on 24 cruises on seven cruise lines prior to this one. After our third Carnival trip we swore we would never, ever go back. Two years ago we took our kids and grandkids (ages 13, 7, and 2) on the Carnival Miracle from Long Beach to Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta for their first ...
We were excited to take our family on our 4th Carnival cruise to 4 new islands, Grand Turk, DR, Aruba, and Curacao. Tropical Storm Don changed our itinerary, but Carnival substituted San Juan and St. Maarten for Aruba and Curacao. For that, Carnival did well.
This was our 4th cruise and from the beginning, it was a disorganized mess.
The "new" embarkation process was hot, crowded, and ...
I love Carnival, I have had nothing but really good experiences with them. Nine cruises . Some people just like to complain no matter what. I did miss the elevators but the centerpiece in the lobby changing every day was beautiful. The staff, what can I say. They are the most friendly, hardest working people I have every met. I am not a picky eater and thought the food was really good as usual. I ...
Why we booked this trip: I liked the initial itinerary, but I ultimately choose this time due to friends/family members vacations schedules. It was the perfect time for everyone to meet up. We had four different groups meeting up: the Florida group, the Ohio Group, and Massachusetts group and the California group. Due to Tropical Storm DON... the itinerary changed BUT we had a WONDERFUL time with ...
We chose this cruise for the itinerary and the seemingly amazing ship amenities for families. We had 9 in our family group - grandparents, children, grand children - 14, 11, 7. The children and teen directors were horrible. They made no effort to engage the kids, simply shoved a list of "activities" to the parents and that's it. The teens tried to participate in a couple of activities, but they ...
