I was a big time lover of NCL before this cruise. The crew for the most part didn't seem happy to be there. Majority of the crew would walk by without smiling or saying hello. This was a repositioning cruise ending in New Orleans. Perhaps this may explain the apparent lack of knowledge by the personnal staffing the main desk regarding general information about the next(s) port. This ship is in need of a re-fit and I understand one is forthcoming in the next year. Our outside cabin had carpet which was stained from what it appears to have been a water (salt?) leak. ...

The crew were very good, cabin OK and the food satisfactory. The entertainment and shows excellent. The ship usage of space and some NCL policies created problems. The space usage on the ship was something of a mystery with throughways blocked off for things like new pay restaurants or for some other use of space and a pay restaurant located next to the atrium.
