above + The air outside was cold and the temp. inside the ship was very cold. Couldn't get the cabin temp to warm up despite calling maintenance. They replaced the thermostat, but that did no good. We had to sleep with terry bathrobes on and go to the sauna to warm up. It was very uncomfortable and un pleasant. The whole ship was cold. Never could be anywhere without a sweatshirt, jacket or sweater on. There aren't any drawers in cabin - except two at the night stand - one wouldn't open. Only two closets - no space to store anything, let alone coats. They wouldn't fit in the tiny closets. Fortunately, we bought over the door hooks and used those for our coats. Read Less

The cabin was adequate, but the bathroom was in need of refurbishment. As it was midship, we felt little to no movement. Read More

We found the location of this cabin to be particularly good. There are only cabins above this one and the deck below houses the photo gallery, which is very quiet almost any time during the day or night. It is slightly aft of mid-ship and it is an easy walk to the aft or mid-ship elevators/stairs. The room itself was in excellent condition and everything worked as advertised during the entire 29 days were on the ship. There is plenty of room for storage and the bathroom was small but adequate. We liked that the small tub/shower combination had a flat floor, which made it much easier to keep your balance. The bed was very comfortable and wider than a normal queen. The linens were first rate and the selection of pillows was just fine. We would certainly request this cabin again if we travel on the ship again in the future. If you are looking for a cabin that helps keep your exercising on track this cabin works well. You are only one deck above the walking track on the Promenade Deck and the Lido restaurant is on 9, so a nice walk up the stairs from 4. Read Less

CABIN—# 4123 Balcony catagory VA Deck 4 Aft (but almost mid-ship) We had booked a VE guarantee balcony and were given a VA balcony. It is the last room before the lifeboats so the balcony has a wrap-around railing on one side, only cabins to the right. We were pleasantly surprised that the view was quite nice and open. It was never windy and we never smelled smoke from any of the cabins to our right or above. The cabin itself was typically average—queen bed, 2 end tables with small drawers, small couch (that could sleep one but I can’t imagine 3 people in the room) small desk with cabinet with hair dryer attached (that didn’t work but an unattached one was included) another shelf with glasses and a mini-bar fridge. Three closet sections with adjustable shelves and a safe. There were drawers under the bed with extra pillows and bedding that could have been removed but the drawers were so awkward to reach and open we didn’t use them. There were also 2 cabinets above the couch that a TALL person could use (not me)—one of the hinges was broken on ours. I found the storage space a bit on the tight side (we felt we had more room before) Since we pack our clothes and other items in packing cubes we left them in the cubes to reduce clutter and help keep things organized.
