Embarkation - Luggage drop off was a scramble.
We were dropped off to a huge mob in the parking lot in front of our pier. They needed more Royal Caribbean employees to direct things, and they also needed more signs. No one knew anything, and I waited in one mob around a table, and was told that’s where we would pick up our Seapass cards (sounded a little weird), but once I got a little closer, I ...
We arrived two days early to visit Vancouver and stayed at a B & B, Bee & Thistle Guest House, Best in Vancouver. The owner Michael picked us up at the train station and dropped us off at the port on departure day, super accommodating, great breakfasts and comfy rooms; first class place (5 stars).
We left May 21, 201 from Vancouver on the Rhapsody of the Seas first run of the season of the inner ...
This was our third cruise on Royal Caribbean and we’re sad to say that we were disappointed in the Rhapsody.StateroomA few days before we were set to leave the Upgrade Fairy paid a visit and we were moved from a D1 balcony on deck 7 to junior suite 8010, which is an accessible room. This was our first time in a suite (if you really want to count a JS as a suite) and the room was huge compared to ...
We're a little late in getting our review together, but since we had such a fabulous time, we still want to share our experience and thoughts with others.
So here goes...My childhood friend and I promised each other 9 years ago we would take an Alaskan Cruise together the year we both turned 60 (this was that year). We'd spent our elementary and high school years together in Nova Scotia but now ...
Although we are from Nebraska, we have friends in Denver that we enjoy traveling with. We loved the fact that the ship sailed from Vancouver B.C., sailed the Inside Passage, and then the cruise concluded at Seattle. We purposely booked three nights prior and two nights after in those cities. In just under two weeks we enjoyed three vacations in one, with many bucket list experiences.Normally, it ...
Well this is going to be a bit long, but we had such an amazing time that I wanted to share what we enjoyed. Plus, prior to our trip I read lots of reviews to help plan our adventure...hope this helps those of you in the planning stages. My husband, son (age 6) and I just returned from the May 24 sailing of the Rhapsody of the Seas. We are experienced cruises and we like excursions that are active ...
I've been on ten cruises in my life. Seven with Royal Caribbean and one with Windstar, Oceania & Celebrity. The three different cruise lines were far superior, but nearly twice as expensive. As far as I'm concerned, with Royal Caribbean you get the best bang for the buck. Royal Caribbean takes you to the far corners of the world at a price the average guy can afford.
I knew I wanted to go ...
We were a family group with 8 inside cabins.
Know what to expect and you will not be disappointed. 14 years ago, my friends paid over $2000.00 each for an inside room for this 7 day cruise. Food and service were much different in those days. Today, cruise prices have decreased to make cruising more affordable for families. As a result, meals are less extravagant, line ups are longer, ...
We sailed on the Rhapsody 7 day which left Vancouver, BC & ended up in Seattle with the standard port stops. This was our 14th Alaska cruise, 5th on RCCL but first not on the Radiance Class...our favorite RCCL class. BUT the price was definitely right to squeek in an extra cruise this year, so. We have never sailed in an inside before. Have been booked in 1 3 times but was upgraded out on the ...
Background - Three Sorority sisters from College and one Husband along for the ride. We are in our mid 50s and all of use have cruised before. I am from GA, one sister from the FL Keys, and the sister and husband from CA. We have all cruised before, myself and my roommate over 12 times each.My roommate and I met up at the airport in Seattle on the day before the cruise as we were coming from ...
