This was the chocolate cake & pineapple opera dessert. It was divine. All the courses were detailed, but this was over-the-top & delicious.

Cruise 10 Ports

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Silver Whisper

We have always wanted to visit the ports of Quebec, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island as well as the New England. Unfortunately, due to a huge storm ( similar to the one in the movie "A Perfect Storm") we were unable to visit most of the ports on our itinerary. Cruise line gave us a small credit toward a future cruise and did their best to keep us entertained while we remained docked ...

We selected this cruise to be pampered a little and to see the fall colors in Canada and the east coast. We were lucky because the fall colors were late this year. Embarkation was smooth, however, they were a little late getting our bag to the cabin ~ lost one for awhile due to someone taking the tag off! An added bonus was that we had the best cruise director ever, Vicki Van Tassel - she was ...

Very GOOD It istill very nice ship and really one of the best if you want to go for the first time. The service is more impresive than a regular cruice line. We chose the Fall Colors cruise because we hadn't been in Eastern Canada or a lot of the East Coast much. We really enjoyed our time on the ship; the crew and the service is really good. The food on this cruise didn't quite stand up to the food we had on a previous Mediterranean cruise, but was very good. The quality of the ship, cleanliness, shows, entertainment and cabins is really excellent. ...

We have travelled extensively on Regent and had heard great things about SIlver Seas so the itinerary and timing worked for us and 8 other couples that we travel with quite often. That said overall we enjoyed the cruise but however noted the following: 1. The food was excellent but service was inconsistent in the main dining room but we great service from Aidrian 2. The Pool Bar food was ...

The cruise from Southampton to Montreal gave us a good view of Greenland, Iceland and areas that the Vikings first landed. Greenland was unique, through Prince Christian Sound and a town that I can't remember. Service was excellent. The only drawback was the inability to land at L'Anse aux Meadow due to rough seas that precluded tender ops, and then a Canadian Government restriction that limited ...

Not quite as good as our other Silversea cruises

This is our third cruise with Silversea, having sailed on The Wind and The Cloud previously. This trip was Canada and New England, starting in Montreal. We chose a verandah suite 644 (midship) and the room was spacious with a good dressing room and a separate shower and bath. Verandah with two recliner chairs and table. As always the butler service was excellent and you have 24 hour room ...

What do you get on a 6 start cruise that you wouldn't get with a nice balcony room, free drinks, and specialty restaurant dinner each night? Answer: about 3 times the cost. This 10 night cruise ran about $10,500 for two (two weeks it was $14K); another cruise with the same intenary would have run you about $3500. I'll make this simple: 1. The free drinks are great - we enjoyed trying different ...
