We have travelled extensively on Regent and had heard great things about SIlver Seas so the itinerary and timing worked for us and 8 other couples that we travel with quite often.
That said overall we enjoyed the cruise but however noted the following:
1. The food was excellent but service was inconsistent in the main dining room but we great service from Aidrian
The room size was very good and comparable to Regent and our Butler Mustafa was Excellent.
Montreal for those who haven't visited is a fantastic city as we've both lived there previously (Paris without the airfare) and old world charm and modern city center.
Again a fantastic city to visit if you've not been there with old world charm and beauty.
If you visit Halifax you have to go to Peggy's Cove as it's a unique place to visit and Halifax is a very nice city to also explore.
I'm sure it's a quaint destination to visit but the weather was terrible so we enjoyed lunch (Lobster Roll) a local favourite and back to the ship.
A city I've been before and the Old Market area was nice and we did the Hop On Hop Off Bus tour was great and weather was gorgeous.
A very nice small town charm and expansive harbour with plenty of boats of different sizes (sort of a Monaco to the North...)
