This was our 3rd time sailing on the Breakaway in less than 1 year. We sailed on July 12, 2015 to Bermuda, on October 25th, 2015 to the Bahama's and this last cruise for 9 nights to San Juan, St. Thomas, Tortola and Bermuda. We had smooth sailing, no issues. The beverage package on Norwegian is the best. No more signing for every drink, now they just swipe your card.

This cruise was a 9 day to San Juan, St Thomas, Tortola, and Bermuda, We didn't have kids or teens with us, but there were a lot on board. The cruise was fantastic in all aspects except one - I was super disappointed that my Tortola, Virgin Gorda Baths shore excursion was cancelled the night before the scheduled excursion due to the ferry.

Been on this cruise two other times and although the recent cosmetic upgrades and changes made in dining areas was nice. The boat seems to be getting old. I heard many passengers complaining about the toilets in the public areas not wring properly and some people complaining about the toilets in their room not working. That would not be fun. Sailing were my DW and I in our mid 50's, and our 17 yer old nephew. We all felt the ship was too crowded and it felt like you either needed to make a reservation in advance or you risked waiting in line. The ropes course and slides were good, never an extremely long wait as I thought their might be; maybe 20 - 30 mins tops for the ropes course, and you went at your own pace.

Family members could only get off this week the whole summer and they have children so to keep the price down we went out of Boston since we wouldn't have to fly. NCL claims to have spent all this money to rehab this ship but more than half of the bathrooms were out of order!!! You couldn't enter any ladies room without at least one "out of order" sign. Ship is too big. Disembarking for Bermuda was awful. Had to wait 45 minutes for a cab to Horsehoe Bay. While I dislike the cheesy shows that I was forced to attend by my party, the Second City Improv and Howling Moon Dueling Pianos were excellent. The food was tasty but the pool was too crowded. The Ports of call were numerous, and heard good thitngs abou The Breakaway.T he ship was stunning. I also liked that the ship left from N.Y. and was sailing for 9 nights.. We chose this cruise because two couples in our party had never cruised before. We were able to keep the expenses lower without having to add air. Our embarkation experiences went as we expected and our sail away was entertaining.
