The cabin was where the age of the ship showed the most. • Stateroom shower problems: cycles between scalding hot and cold water; the shower drain became backed up the last two days of our cruise; there were obvious cracks on the bathroom counter • Cabin safe was broken; called service desk and waited for the promised repair person who never showed... after a maintenance person finally came by to "fix" it, the keypad remained difficult to use (had to press the keys really hard) • TV: another cabin equipment that we had issues with... even after the batteries in the remote control were replaced, the television would not respond to button presses 80% of the time, occasionally we had to resort to unplugging the TV to turn it off. Some positives: the bed was comfy... the sound-proofing worked well enough that we didn't hear our neighbors like we did on previous cruises... finally, being able to see the live view of the camera pointing at the front of the ship on TV was really nice. Alaska Land & Sea Tour : Cabin 9569
Sail Date: June 2019
The cabin had enough room for two people with plenty of storage space. Very quite. Room always made up and supplied with towels, washcloths and shower gel and shampoo. The room is perfect if you like it dark and need to sleep.

The cabin was clean and the cleaning service was great! With the creative towel animals being cute. It was a little small but worked out just fine.

First cabin was 11055 was constantly been awoken during the night by galley crew banging around in working area and slamming doors located directly behind us. After five nights of constantly complaining at 4-00 in morning and asking for a cabin change which they said was impossible as ship was full miraculously we were moved to deck nine cabin 9075 and had no further issues. In compensation we were given a bottle of red wine and four small chocolate canapés. Quite disgusting considering we had paid for the ultimate drinks package and had unlimited wine anyway. Read Less
