Comfortable bed. Good storage apart from few horizontal surfaces
Only one bedside table and no coffee table
No chair, just a weird round stool thing.
Coffee maker, fridge, good hair dryer.
Good view down from balcony, lifeboats are tucked underneath and do not obstruct view.
Good size television, but not on demand. We got timetable of films from customer service desk, then they changed the programming halfway through the week!
Good shower, toiletries provided in wall mounted dispensers.
Tiny cramped toilet, but seemed to work ok! Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was the right size for the two of us. We were glad we chose a balcony cabin since it was nice to have the door open during the first part of the cruise and listen to the water flowing by. The bed was comfortable and the steward did a good job of cleaning the cabin and turning the bed down each evening. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was clean, thanks to JB, our room steward. Bed should be moved to allow for larger desk area. Maybe add a small table in front of the sofa/pullout. Bathroom was large. Coffee pot was a nice touch. Maybe make room in fridge for our drinks, as everything in fridge was an extra charge. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was typical, enough storage, bed was comfortable, bathroom small but functional. Our steward was very good, room was always clean, and in good order. Though the Jade is slated for a dry dock in March, she is showing her age. Read entire member review >>
we had 4 in our cabin. When the beds are down you can't even get out the door to the balcony unless you roll on the lower bed and bend down so you don't hit your head on the top bunk. The design is horrible! Read entire member review >>
Small cabin but adequate for 2 people for a week. Bed large and comfortable, split bathroom is good and shower is a proper cubicle rather than a shower curtain! Balcony small but ok for 2 .Interior is dated but very clean and I hope this will be addressed with the scheduled dry dock updates Read entire member review >>
We had a balcony on deck 10 (532) fwd of midships and we felt no movement and there was no real noise to speak of.. The cabin itself was spacious enough with plenty of storage for our 7 day cruise. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was comfortable and a reasonable size and with enough storage space - and having a balcony was a bonus (but, unfortunately, not as clean as it should have been). Bathroom a wee bit tight spacewise. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was perfectly adequate for two adults and two small kids. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Clean (aside from very top shelf above the TV which had a thick layer of dust on it) and tidy but looking a bit worse for wear (stains on carpet and on sofa bed). Much quieter than we could have hoped for - virtually undisturbed sleep for the whole trip.
Bathroom was fine and kept very clean. Just wish the shower had drained more quickly - we always ended up standing in a couple of centimeters of water.
Despite recommendations that we go for a port-side room for the views out of Venice, we were glad we had a starboard balcony, which provided wonderful views of Santorini, Mykonos and Split when anchored...and which had just as wonderful views of Venice on our return in the morning light. We had both 10594 and 10592 which had a connecting door. These rooms are midship and right by the lifts which made them very accessible. It was very easy to get to most of the main public areas and to disembark the ship. The only downside of the location could be noise from late night revellers returning to their rooms but I did not find this a problem.
We had twin beds in 10594 which was find. However, the space between the beds is very narrow so be clever about who gets which bed. In 10592 the sofa was also pulled out to make a bed. As we literally only used the rooms to sleep and shower we had plenty of room. However, I think the balconies really helped to make the rooms feel more spacious and were nice areas to relax in and watch the views.
The shower rooms contained a shower cubicle with dispensers for shampoo and shower gel and a rack to keep your own items. The toilet was in a separate cublicle and inbetween the two was the sink. Soap was in a dispenser as well as a bar and body lotion was also provided. The shower room is small but adequate. It was a little worn though with cracks in the sink toilet seat. However, it was kept very clean.
The cabin itself has the beds, a table, a couch and a coffee table. There is a safe, a mini bar (which you can ask your steward to empty), wardrobe space (with plenty of hangers), drawers, a TV and a little filter coffee machine. The coffee isn't very nice though and I preferred to get it from the Garden café instead. There is also a hair dryer. Generally I think that this is a very good room. Read entire member review >>
Biggest room we've had on any cruiseship. Lots of room for everything-had our pre-stocked fridge emptied so we could use it. didn't use room service, Fernanda was our assistant-quiet & nice but also very accommodating. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin seemed a bit smaller that most ships we've cruise on. The bathroom is the worst design I have ever seen. Inside the bathroom, the sink is directly in front of you when you walk in with a glass partitioned-off area to one side which holds a nice-sized shower and on the opposite side the other glass partitioned area with a sliding glass door (why?) which is the toilet. This toilet area is very cramped. When I dropped the paper off of the holder I had to kick it out by the sink to pick it up. The sink area is very small and if you change in the bathroom, you will bang your elbows on the walls. The storage isn't very well thought-out in the bathroom either with 3 glass shelves on the wall and a shelf under the sink. The bathroom does have a dispenser for liquid soap at the sink and dispensers for shampoo and soap in the shower stall. Nice. The storage in the cabin wasn't too bad, but I wish there were more drawers. Our large suitcases fit nicely under the bed. We requested foam padding for our bed and our room steward brought 3 pretty dilapidated broken-down pads, but they served their purpose. I tried not to think of their history.
Our balcony had a sliding glass door which we kept open constantly as we enjoy the sound of the ocean. We had two nice chairs and a wooden table on our balcony. We always book our cabin mid-ship and low as I often have motion issues and this is a nice location for that. The decor was bright and cheery and the room kept clean. I did have to clean our balcony glass when we first embarked and about the 4th day I had our room steward clean the outside of the glass, although she said it was "hard to do". They do have a special tool for that. It was so salt encrusted we had a hard time seeing out if we were sitting down. Most cruises that is done when we get on, or shortly after. Our room was very nice. We loved how the shower and toilet were separated with doors that close off from the bathroom sink area. On a different cruise line we are used to sailing, the bathroom would flood every time we took a shower so we were very happy about the setup. Our cabin steward was excellent. We received towel animals nightly and never had any issues with the cleanliness of our room (mind you my husband has OCD). There was not a whole lot of space to store things. There were 3 drawers and 3 cubby holes to store things. The closet was a decent size and had plenty of room for hanging clothes and shoes. We storied the luggage under the bed.The hallways were always clean and there was easy access to the forward and mid elevators and stairs. It was a great location to get to the buffet at the Garden Cafe and all other activities on Deck 12. Read entire member review >>
The room was smaller than what we have had on other crusie ships. Our balcony was large enough for 2 chairs and a small table between.
Our steward did an excellent job keeping our room clean and we always found fresh ice after being gone for the day. Read entire member review >>
We had a mid-ship balcony cabin. It was a good size with a queen bed(comfy), love seat, small desk, television, closet, drawers, shelves, mini bar. The bathroom was small, but worked just fine. Hairdryer worked well. Shampoo and Body Wash are included in the shower and Hand Soap at the sink. There is also a coffee maker in the cabin, but we didn't use that.
Balcony was decent size. There were 2 chairs and a little table. Read entire member review >>
Everything looked brand new in the cabin as in the rest of the ship. Nothing worn or scratched and the bathroom was very nice with the largest shower we've ever had at sea. Read entire member review >>
Awesome location!! Very quiet and comfortable for 2 people. We didn't have to mess with the elevators (although they were right there) going up a couple floors to the buffet for breakfast/lunch or pool area or down a flight or 2 to the main atrium. There was no room directly across from us either. Bathroom was spacious (for a cabin!) and well-laid out. Read entire member review >>
I have my balcony cabin I love it, but the paint is peeling, it need an outside professional painter not a maintenance guys, rusted bolts . But the inside cabin is excellent, clean & home .My cabin cleaner Jorge is an excellent worker. Very accommodating , pampered us whatever we need, he's there to help us. I highly recommend him. Loved the big comfy bed, shower was excellent, and for once a really good powerful hairdryer, also liked the wooden clothes hangers, felt the little metal table on the balcony was a bit worse for wear, also the top coverlet on the bed had a few stains on it. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was located midships and was ideal for ease of access to the main atrium, Garden cafe and Blue Lagoon Bistro. It was just right for our needs in terms of space, cupboard space and comfort. The bed (Queen sized) was very comfortable. The balcony was a pleasure to sit at day & night and again had ample space. The cabin was continuously kept pristine by the cabin steward and he certainly earn his service charge in providing a sufficient service to our needs. The only thing we would say was out of all the staff on the ship he was the least friendly hardly spoke a word and never smiled. That being said it was a great experience to get the famous towel animals and all were kept as a growing zoo throughout our cruise. The TV system was a little limited and it was rather annoying to have to tune in to one channel just to hear the majority of the ships announcements especially if you couldn't find the remote. Desk space was a little limited for writing/ make up etc but the bathroom was superb. again clean and functional throughout our stay. The cruise newsletter delivered daily provided ample information on the day's activities, weather and excursion tips. Read entire member review >>
Room was in excellent location. Midship, 2 doors down from elevator with no noise from hallway at all. Only issue I have is people seem to talk very loudly, so sometimes balcony was unusable for me. Even though it was starboard due to nature of itinerary, we had land views and port views. Read entire member review >>
The stateroom was kept perfectly clean by our steward, June. This cabin is in a great location, as it is the last cabin on the starboard side, towards the aft. Very quiet, as there is only one cabin adjacent to it and essentially nobody passing by the door. Although in the aft, there was no movement to speak of, even in Gale Force 8 winds! spacious feel, nice-size balcony, great location, larger-than-we-expected bathroom/shower, great bed and down-alternative comforter, plenty of closet space; folded-up extra "bed" provided small-sofa seating Read entire member review >>
Mid ship and perfectly located to elevator/stairs.
Nicely sized room with a fabulously comfortable bed.
Balcony was nicely sized and good chairs but suites have MUCH nicer furniture both inside and out!
Need to update to flat screens and also provide a menu to access the movie schedules on your tv instead of coming into the middle/end of them. Read entire member review >>
Small by industry standards but adequate with decent balcony. Reasonable storage space. Good bathroom with shower and toilet both divided by solid doors. Quiet location with cabin decks above and below.

Getting on the ship, I was very surprised at how beautifully appointed it was. I don't really know what I was expecting, but my expectations were blown out of the water. Our room was either bigger or arranged in such a way that it seemed bigger than we have had on other ships. We were in a balcony stateroom. What surprised me (and elated my wife) the most was the size of the shower. Norwegian has figured out a way to fit an almost normal sized shower into a stateroom bathroom. I was impressed. The room was nice other than that. Storage was good, nice use of mirrors to help increase the illusion of more space. TV was a bit older, but that is generally to be expected. They had a pretty good movie selection, but only one channel in english for the movies. Not that big of a deal though, considering the limited amount of time that you watch movies in your room during a cruise. Read entire member review >>
Mid ship with balcony. Deck 11. Choose wisely some of these rooms are underneath the kids club (deck 12). Spacious enough, with enough storage room. Balcony is good. Somewhere quiet to go to. Happy with bathroom, with a bathtub! Read entire member review >>
Good position on ship with a nice balcony .
Easy to get to the other areas of the ship without needing to use the lifts.
The bathroom is good but the cabin is one of the smallest I have been in.
It is ok if your neighbours are quiet ,if they are not then it spoils the cruise.
Its time NCL banned smoking on balconies nobody wants that horrid smell drifting into their cabin. Read entire member review >>
9626 - balcony cabin aft; between two stairwells/lifts, and nice and quiet without being too far from anywhere. Very impressive storage for a smallish space; adequate bathroom/shower; very comfy bed; nice little dressing table and perfectly fine sized balcony. Read entire member review >>
Good position with nice balcony. Cabin was adequate, kept clean with sufficient storage space. Would have liked better lighting especially over the dressing table area and also a bedside table on both sides of the bed. Very happy to have the coffee maker. Old style TV was fine for us as we don't watch it apart from ship information and occasionaly the news!! Bathroom was very small, especially the toilet cubicle. This could be improved without great cost by removing part of the wall between the toilet and washing area. That would make drying yourself after showering much easier. Always plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Bathroom products, although in dispensers, were of a decent quality. Read entire member review >>
On a positive note, the double bed in our balcony stateroom was huge [bigger than our king size at home] and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out and reading on the balcony when the sun was out but, as we were able to make use of the balcony on only two days of our 9 days cruise because of the weather, we did wonder if we should have just booked an oceanview stateroom instead.
On a negative note, the lavatory in the bathroom is a tight squeeze to get in and out. And when you are sitting down, your knees are in toching distance with the wall - and we are not big people! There is only a 14 inch CRT TV which is adequate if you just want to watch the BBC World news whilst sitting on the sofa but not if you want to watch a film whilst in bed. Anyway, in this day and age, you would have thought NCL would have larger flat screen tvs. Also, although there is a coffee maker with sachets of coffee for coffee drinkers, there is no kettle for tea drinkers, although tea bags were provided. Obviously, you would not want to make tea in a coffee maker. Read entire member review >>
BA9068 - quiet location, toilet a little on the small size and could be a problem for a large person but the rest of bathroom ok. We had a wonderful cabin steward called Dinesh. Read entire member review >>
I always thought that cabins like ours directly at the staircase would be loud and noisy but we were nicely surprised how calm it was and made ways to other venues very short. Read entire member review >>
Our balcony cabin was first class and the best we have experienced on all of our cruises. The balcony afforded great views, plenty of room for the 2 of use and great to leave the large sliding glass doors open at night and sample the fresh air, great for helping to sleep to. The bathroom was roomy and included a walk in shower which had loads of space. I guess you would call the toilet area compact. Not a problem to us though, after all, how much time do you spend in there.
Our cabin was situated forward of midships. It was very quiet, no noise from the bars or ships engines, in fact very tranquil Read entire member review >>
Our mid-ship balcony was quite lovely. Overall we were quite comfortable there for the week.
A good amount of storage. It was relatively quiet. Unfortunately, we did seem to be getting cigarette smoke from the room next door through the vent in our closet and of course, from the balcony. Yuk. Would love to have a non-smoking area of the ship next time.Bathroom was a bit cramped in the toilet and shower stalls, but very well appointed. Read entire member review >>
We were in cabin 9100 BA we had a balcony and the room is pretty much in the middle of the ship so we could get to everything pretty easy. Even though we had the elevator right in front it never got loud. Bring extra clothes hangers because there aren't enough and the ones they have are the big wooden ones that take up all the closet space. I took them out and just used ours. There was plenty of space under the bed to store all of our luggage. The steward came twice a day to lower a bed that was in the ceiling for one of our children the other slept on the pull out couch. The steward had it all done every night and morning despite our wacky schedule of coming and going. Read entire member review >>
Being in the middle of the ship put us VERY far from common areas and elevators. Was also where all the smoke from the cabins seemed to linger the worts. Could here our neighbours tv and having sex. If you have hip or knee issues, the bed will kill you....so bad. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was great. I loved the storage. We had two robes. I picked a balcony room on the left side of the ship because I wanted to see us coming into port from the bedroom. The televisions need to be updated. The bathrooms are a great size. I think less things in the refrigerator would allow more space for personal items. Read entire member review >>
Outside with balcony.
Rooms are small and spotless but the balcony made up for it. Nice to sit outside in the sun with your morning coffee. Tidy bathroom with a great shower. Friends had an inside cabin ---dark! They spent most of the time outside it. We were happy to use the balcony.
Very useful to have tea and coffee making facility. Read entire member review >>
Lots of storage bins, drawers, etc. Bathroom had 3 sections (toilet; sink; shower) which is great, plus a large, moveable faucet in sink (easier to hand wash some clothes). Shower stall has a clothesline. Two USA electric plugs. One European plug. Coffee pot and refrigerator in cabin. Fridge stocked as a mini bar. We only purchased one item. Cabin is just slightly forward of mid-ships. Very convenient for getting around. Room very quiet, but balcony could be noisy if our neighbors were also on their balcony at same time. Cabin has a safe, that comes in handy for passports and cash. Hair dryer was great, lots of power, did not need my own. Read entire member review >>
Ocean balcony was quite nice .. have to say, one of the highlights of the trip with given the variety of stops. Stayed in our room > 1/2 time on the ship. Was a double bed .. 2 singles put togther but more comfortable than expected. Had a couch, desk table and chair. Bathroom had a nice size shower and the toilet area had a slide door. TV was fairly small but didn't really use it much .. read, sat on balcony all hours of night and day. Read entire member review >>
Small balcony cabin, located mid-ship near the mid-ship stairs and elevator. Very convenient, less motion from the sea than at the ends of the ship, and on the best side for port photography. Garden Cafe was up two floors, easy to reach. Read entire member review >>
Great balcony, just aft of midship so close but not too close to elevators. Quiet hallway.
Lots of storage in closet, three good-sized drawers and several cubbies. Luggage fits under bed for additional storeage.
Bathroom very nice sized. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was small but met our needs. The balcony was a must for this cruise. We heard very little noise and we were mid ship near the elevators. We heard nothing from the cabins on either side of us. The bed was comfortable. We overpacked so there was limited room for luggage. This was our fault. You live and learn. Read entire member review >>
Typical balcony cabin. Port side cabin gave us welcome coastal views throughout the trip. A bit cramped but with sufficient storage space. Toilet seat was broken when we boarded. Fixed within an hour. However, we had to live with a noisy shower the whole trip; reported repeatedly but never attended to. Not a trainsmash - more irritating than anything else. Starboard balcony 9118 was a good location in almost all ports, near elevators at both ends of buffet on 12th floor and the kid's club. Our 2nd cabin, 9121, was a sideways cabin which appeared larger. You can have the bathroom or closet doors open without interfering with the cabin door. Read entire member review >>
