"The food and beverage manager listened to our woes and got us an additional 150 minutes which helped but still wasn't what we needed. The only exception was the first day at o'sheehans where we waited 45 minutes for our drinks then another 20 for our food...."Read More

1-10 of 350 Norwegian Escape Cruise Reviews for Romantic to the Bahamas
This was my seventh cruise and my fifth NCL cruise. We had a balcony room near the back of the boat on the 11th floor. The room was quiet and the room and balcony are exactly what I had expected of a newer large NCL or RCI ship,
I've always discounted reviews of others when they posted negative reviews of food. I'm not a particularly 'foodie' type person. I will clarify my thoughts by saying ...
This was our first time on one of NCL's larger ships - and may be our last. The layout of the Escape leaves something to be desired, because when ship is at full capacity it's hard to even walk properly on some decks. We spent over an hour trying to find just two chairs together on any deck on the sea days - and I'm not exaggerating. The atrium area gets so crowded for shows that you cannot even ...
First, I will start with the things that we liked. My eight-year-old absolutely loves splash Academy. He begged to go there every time they open. Staff is great and they really love the kids. The waiters at the restaurants are very accommodating. We had a show to get to early in the evening and they were sure to get our food out quickly so that we were not late. The complimentary dining rooms had ...
while we knew that the ship was over booked and that there were many more children on board than usual, we were ok with it at first. Getting on board was a good experience as we are Platnium members with NCL. once onboard, we started running into the problems, parents letting their kids run lose while they sat at the bars, we were next to one group who were laughing wondering what all their kids ...
We took the Norwegian Escape on a one week Caribbean cruise with family members and had mixed success. First the positives :
The onboard entertainment was exceptional, the staff were very friendly and very helpful, the meals were tasty with a lot of variety to choose from and the specialty restaurants were all excellent.
Now the negatives that we feel we need to share :
- don’t book your ...
Overall good experience on my wife and I 2nd NCL cruise. Surprisingly very friendly staff made up for some minor flaws in the overall experience. No matter what cruise lines we vacation with, each has its pros/cons.
Pros:
- Boarding around 12:30 pm was pretty swift and was on the ship pretty early.
- Friendly staff throughout the week
- Self-exit with our luggage around 7:30 AM was ...
NCL platinum customer who used to love this cruise line. When I first cruised back last year, my experience was extremely poor, and I chalked it up to Covid. I understand there’s a lot to do to get back to business but some thing about this cruise line is wrong now. The ships are too understaffed to give you a good experience. Nothing but lines, cold food and lack of service. Can’t even ...
My cousin went through a travel agent to book this cruise for our family group of 15. My cousins have been on several cruises, but it was a first-time cruise for about half our group, so I had no idea what to expect. I was very excited after watching lots of video walk-throughs of the ship itself, and a lot of people I know personally told me that Norwegian is a great cruise line. We sailed on the ...
Many cruises on NCL. First time in the Haven $8,000.00. I wanted something special. So I saved and thought I was getting the best. The Haven was wonderful. I never stood in lines, was escorted to shows. Restaurant was wonderful, could have had a few more options. Not crowded. Pool not crowded. Chairs for lounging great.
Had a butler, not that friendly. But Room steward was wonderful. ...
This ship was chosen as part of a Casinos at Sea offer - All previous cruises have been on Royal Caribbean.
Biggest disappointment was only one pool available for the majority of guests. Pool decks were extremely crowded. No personal space on pool decks. Loungers were side by side.
Only other options were hot/lukewarm tubs - which in temperatures > 80 degrees - not enticing and also ...
