The ship was old - carpet in our suites had numerous large stains, couches were worn. The mode of communication that we had received on previous cruises was way less, leaving us guessing what to do to get of at the ports. Thankfully, I asked for one but the worst was Belize City where we had to tender. Instructions on the front of the daily news told where to go; however, it did not note there ...

Let me simply say-This is our 8th Carnival Cruise. Our very first cruise was in August 2003 on the Carnival Conquest. We have compared every single cruise we have taken on carnival to this one ship and had high expectations as this was the "conquest". This review is a comparison to the then and now. I did know that I wanted to party and socialize ALOT! It took a long time to get through customs and get on the boat. I arrived at the port around 11am and we didn't get on the boat until around 1:30pm. By the time we got on the ...

Let me start by saying. I'm a big Carnival fan and a travel agent that highly recommends Carnival but this cruise was the worst I have been on in a long time. First we left New Orleans very late Sunday night Nov 13 2011. This was the first problem. The Conquest was repositioning from Galveston. The ship did not arrive till around 3 pm. Carnival did email all of us and told us it would be late but ...
