After having been on 4 Silversea cruises, we chose the Canada and New England cruise
at this time to be able to sail into NYC. It was a thrilling experience! We have sailed on
the Wind, the Spirit (twice), and the Cloud. Each cruise was excellent. We loved the
small-sized ship, and the crew was exceptional. The personalized service of Silversea,
from the butler to the maitre ...
We chose this cruise because Bridge at Sea was holding a bridge event, the bridge was fine- the ship was a huge disappointment. The interior spaces are old and tired, wear and stains on every surface. The room was tiny, we knew that, but we didn't know that the beds weren't full sized, the brochure said "queen-sized", instead they were shorter and narrower than standard beds. Nice quality linens, ...
We chose this cruise to travel with friends who are disabled seniors ; the line advertises many handicap accessible excursions. NOT! Only one stop could accommodate a wheel chair rolling off; other stops required being carried in a wheelchair down two very steep outdoor flights of stairs that were very frightening, especially slick and wet. Also, the elevator to the upper decks was out most of ...
We have always wanted to visit the ports of Quebec, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island as well as the New England.
Unfortunately, due to a huge storm ( similar to the one in the movie "A Perfect Storm") we were unable to visit most of the ports on our itinerary. Cruise line gave us a small credit toward a future cruise and did their best to keep us entertained while we remained docked ...
We selected this cruise to be pampered a little and to see the fall colors in Canada and the east coast. We were lucky because the fall colors were late this year. Embarkation was smooth, however, they were a little late getting our bag to the cabin ~ lost one for awhile due to someone taking the tag off! An added bonus was that we had the best cruise director ever, Vicki Van Tassel - she was ...
First time sailing on Silverseas and we expected a very nice trip. Cabin was fine, on par with Regent, just not as new. Having a butler was nice. Food was at best mediocre. There were really only 2 restaurants to choose from (weather was so cool, pool side dining was not comfortable). Menus changed only every 3 days. Breakfast buffet was pretty much the same every day. Lunch buffet varied, ...
My wife, son and I booked this cruise to celebrate my 50th birthday and traveled in suites 702/704. We are frequent Silversea cruisers and we actually hit our 100th day during this voyage.
All I can say is that Silversea is still a top-notch luxury cruise vacation. I know many people may not be happy as a tropical storm forced us to miss 4 of the ports (Madeleine Islands, Portland, Boston, ...
Very GOOD
It istill very nice ship and really one of the best if you want to go for the first time.
The service is more impresive than a regular cruice line.
The inforamtion thay give us for the ports is really full.
The rooms are very goog ones.
The bar or halls areas are nice and allway you have a spot to seat.
Nice people in the best maners to have a fun and know different ...
We have been on several SilverSea cruises and have never been disappointed, which is why we keep coming back. This was our second voyage on the Silver Whisper and was equal to our first. We love the small size and the pampering we get. Our butler and housekeeper went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The food and wine quality were superb and the service was impeccable. ...
We chose the Fall Colors cruise because we hadn't been in Eastern Canada or a lot of the East Coast much. We really enjoyed our time on the ship; the crew and the service is really good. The food on this cruise didn't quite stand up to the food we had on a previous Mediterranean cruise, but was very good. The quality of the ship, cleanliness, shows, entertainment and cabins is really excellent. ...
