"Our beloved RCCL really dropped the ball on this one and has shaken our opinion of the cruise line.
My wife and I are Diamond Crown and Anchor members and this was our 20th cruise on RCCL. We sailed on the..."Read More

1-10 of 89 Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas Cruise Reviews for Senior Cruises to the Eastern Caribbean from Miami
My review will focus on the casino aspect of the ship as well as my overall opinion of the trip. The Navigator of the Seas is in the Voyager class, and is similar to the Independence of the Seas in its layout.
EMBARKMENT: Went quickly from the bus ride with only two passengers, myself and one other person from Fort Lauderdale airport to the Port of Miami. The check in process took less than ...
AWFUL: PADI service. We understand the policy of not serving kids under 12 years old. What it is unacceptable is that the guy from South Africa in charge does not help in contacting other PADI centers to facilitate diving to families with children under 12. “Go online and search” is a rude answer and definitely not a Royal Caribbean style answer. We lost the opportunity of diving in 3 ...
I would have given this cruise 5 stars but for the unfortunate boarding experience in the parking lot at Miami.....My husband and I got on very quickly (1/2 hour)....but then had to watch our luggage sit in the parking lot and not loaded until 6pm. And we finally got it after dinner. I do want to state that this was the fault of Port of Miami Baggage Handlers Union. Those guys in the white hats ...
Mom has liked Royal Caribbean in the past - it's a older crowd (she is 82) and she feels more comfortable. We had problems after problems. The guy at the desk told me 2 things about WIFI that was WRONG and they keep telling me to call Verizon. It's their fault.
Horrible customer service - paid for WIFI and it does NOT include calls or text - just data. So many things went wrong. From having ...
Great time cruise for the price. The perfect quick getaway to me in the holiday spirit. Our dining room staff were excellent and made for a great dining experience. Not that crazy about the ship since I was previously on the Oasis of the Seas where I preferred the cabin over looking the boardwalk. Had been to Nassau so many times I didn't bother to get off the ship. Wish there had been more lower ...
This was our 50th cruise with Royal and by far the worst.
Boarding was a nightmare. I understand that there was no terminal, just a tent. That was out of Royal's control. But there were no Royal representatives to help on the dock. No one to tell us where to drop off luggage, or assist with the 1/4 mile long line. No one to assist with handicapped till 3 pm. Got to dock at 1 pm didn't board ...
As Diamond Crown & Anchor members, my family has gone on many cruises, but we brought three cruise newbies on our group and we went to Puerto Rico for the first time in 33 years.
Pros:
- My wife and I got married on Voyager in 2003, so this class is memorable for us
- We also failed on Navigator in the Med five years ago, so we remembered the ship too
- It's really hard to get ...
The food wasn't too good. We had a smell in our cabin that they couldn't get rid of. We tried to spray & the odor just came back. They cleaned the carpet & cleaned everything in the cabin. We started to leave the balcony door open just to keep the odor down. Pillow was flat as a pancake I had to get an extra pillow since the flat pillow was giving a neck ache. We couldn't use our toilet for a day ...
We have been cruising for years and always had a wonderful time.We had never booked with Royal Caribbean, but heard great things about them. Sadly this was not the case on Navigator of the Seas !! We arrived at the port a couple hours early and expected a wait, but not to be bused over to Bayside and never picked back up. Most people had to get a cab back to the ship in fear of missing the ...
RCCL Navigator of the Seas
We cruised 7 days from November 27 to December 4, 2016, and this was our 57th cruise. We are rated Diamond with RCCL and we cruise with several other cruise lines.
We had a balcony cabin.
Cabin condition and its size were fine. Ship’s public areas were all fine.
The food offerings in the main dining room and on the Deck 11 buffets were way below what we have ...
