Debauchery at it's peak I suppose. We're not huge drinkers although people certainly did over indulge! We went to a daytime parade which was nice & family friendly - be prepared for crowds and long wait times and everything runs late. Also did a night time parade where the debauchery comes to life. Lots of booze and weed were being consumed, but it was a good experience overall. It's worth ...

This is a great city to visit. Don't just take a bus tour...spend at least three days exploring by foot and the hop-on/hop-off (a three day pass includes two guided tours). The city is filled with history, the restaurants are fantastic, and the music is spectacular. Walk the streets of the French Quarter and night and immerse yourself in the street music and night life. ...

Viking offers a tour from the ship. the tour we chose was the "Jazz Experience." A member of the band conducted the tour which visited a bar first (great margarita!) for a concert by his band, Sunday brunch at the Court of Two Sisters, and ...

The city of New Orleans is absolutely beautiful, so full of history and culture. The people are friendly. There are so many things to see and do. We were only there for a day, but the coolest thing I saw was the street musician with his little dog Robin who would go to the people who were holding dollar bills and take them in her mouth and bring them back to his tip jar. It was the neatest ...

We visited World War 2 Museum, very well done and interactive. We had a nice dinner at Court of the Two Sisters. They had a forty dollar special that included salad, main course and dessert. The fried catfish was huge portion, and just the right amount of breading. ...
