Great Destinations & Service - Low Class Guests

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

The Good Embarkation & debarkation were smooth and efficient in Miami, and perhaps as quick as we’ve seen it. The cabin (Grand Suite 7315) was clean, and the stewards attentive without being intrusive. Our evening waiter staff were friendly and prompt most nights (the first night dragged a bit), even while having to deal with some difficult guests (see The Awful below). We had many nice ...

An old ship in need of remodeling

Given the limited selection at the time of my booking, I chose Carnival Glory because it has water slides (my kids definitely want them) and the price was within my budget. The moment I boarded the ship, I know I got what I paid for and regretted that I didn't book my trip sooner so that I could have more options. 1. Ship Layout is poorly designed. - My first impression was the public areas ...

The employees we encountered on this trip were excellent. The recently refitted ship was gorgeous and the new restaurants were amazing. One breakfast burrito from the Blue Iguana will make you come back for more. The destinations we went to were gorgeous! Just note that Grand Turk really doesn’t have much besides a lighthouse outside of the little Carnival built town. My advice is go to Cockburn ...

We took this 7-night cruise kind of on a whim, and went with Carnival Glory on a friend's recommendation. Our adventure started with dropping our car at an Instapark lot, which was fine, we were able to confirm our spot the night before. The ship was massive of course, but our cabin was average at best. The inside felt a little dated, but was definitely clean enough. My main concern about the ...

First time sailing on The Glory. We had a balcony cabin on Lido deck. So convienient. near all of the food LOL. The ship took about 2 days to get used to the layout. The staff was wonderful and each and everyone of them were friendly and attentive. Embarkation was smooth. My brother needed wheelchair assistance and they were accomodating. my son lost his backpack with his boarding pass, passport ...

Let me start by saying that it was my husband and I first experience on a cruise ship. However although it was our first we had very high expectations since we have been to exquisite hotels before and have received excellent customer service. Therefore we looked forward to being pampered the same way with the cruise. We want to commend those who have exhibited what true customer service ...

Our son and his wife selected the dates/location/&cruise line to celebrate their 10th Anniversary. They had never been on a cruise OR to the Caribbean! This ship is VERY old! Carnival advertises that it was renovated in 2017, but we only saw cosmetic renos. My husband and I were on this ship 16 years ago, and unfortunately not much has changed. We opted for an Aft-Balcony Cabin – EXTREMELY ...

Memories that will last a lifetime

Attended a wedding on the ship, before the ship departed Port Canaveral. Weddings on a ship can be great, for those staying afterwards and cruising. For those not traveling, it can be a long and tedious day. Parking, security, passports, birth certificates, arriving 3 hours early, delay getting off, etc. Not great for elderly or sick. Wedding food was great, cake was wonderful. Wedding ...
