Freeport, offered great excursions. Did the Lucayan Kayak trip. Very informational, and not as much kayaking as I would have liked. Was a 4-5 hour excursion for 109 per person. Freeport is an OK port...you must take either an excursion or a taxi to get into any really populated locale. But there is a new Del Sol and Cariloha right inside the port as well as a Senor Frog's. There are also some local shops for clothing and knick knacks...so you can still wander and do a little shopping...but mostly drinking and eating...we had fish tacos at Robinson's that were ...
nothing to do ... went to lucanya beach and took pictures. the hotel charges a day fee to use their chairs, horrible shuttle service that is touted by ncl - they cheated us and blamed it on the cruise line as well

The day at Freeport was nice but a bit windy so the Lucaya beach experience could have been a bit warmer. On the positive side, it was not crowded and the beach was very beautiful with white sands and azure waters. You have to take a taxi out of the port and into town.
