We went to the Junkanoo beach club via taxi - the beach was nice, but wished we went on a ship excursion, still fun tough. Walked around the port shops, Senor Frogs here too but we opted out this time, (had to recover from the previous day!). ...
At least the port was pretty to look at and clean. Some shopping was around. Lots of live music; line dancing in the plaza with the Bahamian women was great fun! Didn't have much time in this port but we heard the kayaking/hiking excursion was really nice. ...

Great beach port. Straw Market at the dock is small but not bad. Junkanoo Beach is a short $14 round trip cab ride. Nice restaurant, good vendors (guy making fresh conch ceviche is a highlight), cheap $5 chairs and umbrellas ($5 for both, $3 for just the chair), and beach waiters. Crowded, but not OVERcrowded. ...

Only go down for the photo op next to the "welcome sign". The ship stays on port for 6 hours, nothing interesting to do nearby, unless you take an excursion. Remember the water is cold in the winter, don't book "Swim with the dolphins" or "Scuba Diving" during this time of the year. ...
