This was my 11th cruise and though I was hesitant at first, I decided to just jump in and book a seven day cruise from New York City down to Port Canaveral, Great Stirrup Cay then Nassau, Bahamas.

To make it easy for those doing research, I will title each section:

Booking-- I booked directly on the MCL website and a few days later I thought that I would go back into my profile and buy an upgrade and was disappointed to find that this was not an option with NCL. Also, to my dismay, this cruise line did not have an on-line reservation system for airport transfers instead a 1-800 number was listed. I did call and the agent informed me that they only have service from LaGuardia airport but not JFK (JFK was my departure airport). Knowing New York, I decided to buy the local Airporter bus service and that worked out perfectly. I felt spoiled with other cruise line companies with being able to modify my reservations so this did not bode well with me to consider any future bookings. But, I thought, maybe the rest would be good--read on.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Labelled a mini-suite but the emphasis is on the mini and not the suite. Very tiny, barely enough room to move around the bed area. If the pull out couch is ever pulled out, I think one would lose all floor space available. This room was under the buffet restaurant seating area so not a lot of foot noise.
