This was the fourth time we've cruised from our home port of Baltimore. We arrived on Key Highway at about 11:50, and for the first time there were cars backed up to get into the Cruise Terminal. Because the weather was snowy that morning, it seemed that a lot of people left home and arrived early. Once we unloaded luggage, however, the rest of the check-in and embarkation went quickly, and we were on board by 12:40.

Our room was ready by 1:30 as promised, and all of our luggage arrived promptly.

We had trouble trying to stow the large suitcase under the bed (there were cushions or something taking up space under there), and asked our room steward for assistance. He said he'd take care of it during the muster drill. Because the weather was cold and blustery, the captain only kept us on deck for a few minutes. When we got back to the room, the suitcases were as we left them, and were still there when we got back to the room after dinner and the show. We managed to stow the small pieces under the bed, but the big suitcase ended up taking up precious space in the closet.
