This is now my new favorite voyage, simple transatlantic on the Queen Mary 2.
Regardless of what anyone say this ship is amazing! The service, incredible, the food, delectable. If you have a complaint about this ship or staff, you have serious problems, some of the people who write reviews on here are waaaaayyyyy off base. There is NOTHING to complain about. Be grateful for what you have, and quit complaining, you should be ashamed of yourselves. On another note, if you are going to complain make sure you spell check, you loose all credibility when you can form a sentence.
I have to give my highest compliments to the staff, they were super friendly, and the service was amazing. The food in all venues was amazing. The Britannia Dinning Room for dinner was unsurpassed, although I will say for breakfast we did wait 45 min to be served and the food we received was cold, this could be improved, but who cares, you are on vacation and were could you possibly have to be, and if you don't like it, there is always the buffet or room service.
The stateroom was great, and inside, small of course, but you would know this before booking. the bathroom was bigger than I expected, larger shower than most ships. Plenty of storage, safe in the closet. Comfortable beds. This stateroom in on deck 12, on the transatlantic this was OK, if you are in warmer climates you will have noise from the open deck above, there was some noise each morning as there was a stewards locker below us and the door would slam every morning for about a half hour, if you are an early riser this will not bother you, but if you sleep in, you may be woken up. The location is near Stairway/Lifts B, you do not hear the elevators/lifts, the hall was very quiet. Easy access to the indoor Pavilion pool, and just three decks up from the Commodore Club. All other venues are on decks 2,3,7, a long way to climb the stairs although the lifts/elevators are fast. This is an end cabin so you only have a neighbor on one side.
