Firstly the food was very good, with a great selection in WindJammer,Johnny Rockets ($4.95 cover charge pp)and Vivaldi Dining room. There was also the option to go to PortoFino but for $20 pp cover charge we didn't think it was worth the extra. The English theme pub (Dog & Duck) was amazing with friendly bar staff who remembered your name and drink order and engaging performer (Country & Western) The only downfall (if you are a non smoker) was the smell of smoke on your clothes the next day! All staff throughout the ship were friendly and helpful and couldn't seem to do enough for you. The major downfall was the extra charges: 15% service irregardless if service was good or not and this is charged even when you have paid your gratuities up front (which did not happen on a previous cruise to Bermuda) In addtion to this there was also a 8% Spanish VAT that was added on, so: 1 x Fosters beer 750 ml $6.95 + 56 cent tax + $1.04 service = total cost $8.55 My wife had her hair washed and blown in the salon, the price printed on the price list was around $47, when the bill was to be signed for, it came to $79 because my wife had long hair!! and then tax and grat. made it $97 and the stylist kept attempting to sell products and makeup (which made her feel uncomfortable). BIG WARNING: If you are going to book any trips check out the costs: IE ROME: Royal C.I. charge $89 pp for a return coach trip to Rome, we simply got the train for 9 Euro pp return and the ticket also gave free travel on the citie's Metro and buses. This all said, the ship was at full capacity but all of our needs were still met, in general it was a great cruise and holiday, party under the stars and the Captain's welcome was superb.

Value for Money??
