This was our 3rd Carnival cruise. Embarkation process was long. The staff was outstanding as always. Had a great time with Imam in the players lounge, and Alejandro in the Habana Bar. The cabin was great. Always enjoy having a balcony, makes the trip more enjoyable. We felt that most people on the ship were very uptight and unfreindly. There were a few exceptions. We did mmanage to meet some good people. The food on Carnival seems to be going down hill. It was ok. The steakhouse was awesome. We really didn't eat in the main dining room because we didn't enjoy the other couples at our table. The maitre'd couldn't help us. The last formal night he was able to get us a table for two which we fully enjoyed. When we booked with the cruise with Carnival, we were never offered the alternative dining option which we would have used. So we were not happy about that.We did get massages at the spa and it was good except for the sales pitch that was given to me at the end. Now, hows that relaxing? The ship was packed and had a hard time finding lounge chairs on the sea days. I guess people get up early to save these. Not us, we enjoy sleeping in.As always the photographers were annoying and we didn't buy any pictures. The comedians were ok, only went to the Beatles show and it was just ok.Overall, a good cruise not great. We won't be booking with Carnival for a long time though.

Cabin Review

Cabin 9A

Great cabin, 9214 on the Lido deck. No noise and it was great just walking down the hall to get to the pool and freedom restaurant.
