We flew out of Detroit to San Juan on 5/11 & spent the night in the Wyndham Old San Juan. We ate at a Mexican place on a side street near the hotel. We are 35 yr.old married for 7 yrs. have 4 children & a lot of sickness, death & hard times in the past 2 yrs. We were very anxious for this cruise vacation. Our friends watched all our children while we were gone!!! Thank God for friends!!!
We sailed from San Juan on Sunday, May 12. We got to the port around noon & it took about 45 minutes to check in, clear security, have our picture taken & actually step onto the ship.
She was beautiful!! We had previously sailed on Celebrity & Holland America. But neither ship was a grand or gigantic as the AOS.
