Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

We departed at the port of San Juan after spending two nice days enjoying the people and the food of Old San Juan.

We stayed at the Caribe Hilton. Although I have read some bad reviews of the hotel we enjoyed our stay very much . Hotel needs a little TLC but the beds were heaven. The staff could not have been better with the exception of one grumpy gentlemen in the lobby. Ate at Aquaviva in Old San Juan and it was one of the best meals I have ever eaten on vacation! Buneo Aquaviva!!

Our embarkation was easy and we were on the ship in about 15 minutes as all our paperwork was filled out and ready.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Very quiet room. Closet never big enough for two adults and 8 days. Cabin steward kept room clean and tidy. Love the aft cabins and this one was no exception. Large balcony.

The "odor" was terrible all week. We noticed it all over the 8th floor. It really is ashame as that was the only real complaint.

We do not smoke so the people smoking outside was terrible. From 6am till 12am the smell of smoke permiated our room and balcony. this alone will prevent me from sailing RCI again.
