This was my first time cruising on HAL. We had 8 guests in 4 cabins. Two couples (include us) were well experienced in cruising and for two couples it was their first time.
We started our vacation with a pre cruise stay at the Sheraton Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. This was a good location and the van service was only $8 per person to the port in the morning.
HAL allows you to bring your own wine on-board with you, so we called ahead to Total Wine and had 6 good bottles delivered to the hotel to take along with us.
