Everything about this cruise was marvelous! The ship is just the right size, not too large, yet always able to get deck chairs. The whole crew was friendly and phenomenal in their service. Our wait staff in the Bordeaux dining room was superb. Entertainment on the ship was great...lots of very talented singers and dancers. Loved the piano bar at Crooner's Bar and dancing almost every night.
Took the Embera Indian Village Excursion in Panama, from the ship. It was a wonderful experience, a study of a different culture altogether. It was a bit strenuous taking the Indian dugout motorized canoe. Hard position to sit in for the trip down the river. It was an experience I'm glad I did, though i wouldn't repeat it. Our other ship excursion was in Cost Rica (Punterenas). It was the aerial tram trip in the rainforest. Both excursions were well-planned and because we were traveling a long way from the ship, we felt safer with Princess. In Acapulco, we took a tour with Acapulco Rosie, who i read about on this site. www.acapulcorosiestours.com. She was marvelous! Very sweet, and reasonable rates. In Cabo we took a tour with a wonderful man,Raul Perez Vilchis. Phone:624-157-0873. He took us all over Cabo and was so very accommodating.
All in all, this is the 4th Princess cruise I've taken...and it was the best. We don't know how we'll ever top this...but we're going to keep trying, and cruising!!!
Though not much floor space, lots of storage and closet room. Plaza Deck 5 mid ship was very nice location, but the starboard side we were on had a door or something and it sometimes made some noise late at night.
