Traveled with children

Our cruise included 6 adults, 4 of witch are seniors, and 3 children, ages 6,12,15. We had an early check-in and were on the ship around 10:30. The room would be available around 2:00. The pools were available, the water slides opened at 12:00, and food was available at several places. We picked this cruise ship for a couple reasons, first activities for the kids, 2 water slides, one for young children, and one the older more daring and had a height requirement. The kids and some of the adults enjoyed the slides throughout the cruise along with the pools. There was also a basketball court, put-put golf, ping pong, exercise facilities, along with group children's activities. The second reason was the ship size, it had about 2,100 passengers which was great, it never felt crowded at anytime. All the staff was amazing!!! nightly dining was excellent, lots of choices, my wife is gluten sensitive and they accommodated her each night, she would just order the night before. A couple of nights they had singing and dancing thought out the dining room. The only thing I ordered that I'd stay away from was the shrimp cocktail, but everything else was great. We got reservations at the steakhouse one night and that meal was outstanding, everyone raved about it. Again, the staff was outstanding in the main dining room and the steakhouse they made every effort to make you feel special. A couple of waiters spot us on the deck in between meals and actually recognized us and called us by name! Couldn't believe it.

I would recommend watching YouTube for the ports you'll be visiting so there's no surprises and you can have an idea what to look for. Disembarking was also smooth with no surprises.
