The ship was beautiful, very spacious, never felt crowded. Enjoyed most of the tours immensely. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

This cruise was going to places I was very much wanting to visit. The overall experience was excellent.

One issue I have is that I called Viking multiple times to ask about Covid vaccine requirement and was told absolutely we must be vaccinated, it is also on their website. We spent a total of 12 hours driving back and forth to get a NON MRNA vaccine from the company Novavax. When we arrived at the ship no one ever asked to see our vaccine cards????? The only other issue I had was the bed was not very comfortable. It was too hard and hurt my hip. I like a firm bed but these need some type of pillow topper.

The staff and service were excellent! Food was great! Since the cruise started in Venice there was an issue with the tides. This ship could not dock at Venice but at Chioggia. It is a 45 min- hour ride on a ferry to get to Venice so we were only able to spend a couple of hours there not 2 days at is on the cruise itinerary. I enjoyed all the tours and we had some excellent tour guides.

Cabin Review

Lovely, heated floors in bathroom/ plenty of room/ frig restocked daily/ cabin made up and cleaned twice a day. Our room steward knew us by name. The bed was a little to hard, needs a pillow topper, I had a hard time sleeping.
