I had a previous cruise on Avalon and was so happy with every detail. I’ve wanted to go to Normandy for a long time and was thrilled with the details of this trip. This trip was better than I could have imagined. Every detail was taken care of from getting us from the airport to the ship, then from the ship to the Eurostar train, from the station to our hotel in London and at the end to Heathrow airport. Our guides were knowledgeable and lovely! The food was excellent and there was something for everyone. Everyone working on the ship went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Our cruise director helped us pick excursions and guided us when we were confused.

One small suggestion: The Whisper headsets had a lot of problems and stopped working sometimes in the middle of a tour.
