The Virgin Voyages are marketed as luxury cruise ships catering to adults. The idea had me sold. I was so excited to experience everything they were selling. Boy, did they disappoint. Ship itself is beautiful and modern. Drinks are great! Everything else, not so much. The ship is completely understaffed. Staff is great but it is hard to find them. It is almost impossible to arrange for a dinner reservation at any of the restaurants. If you are lucky and get a reservation, the wait to get seated is 20-30 minutes. It felt like everyone on the ship was fighting to get to the food. During the day, options are very limited. If you are burger and pizza fan, you will do good. However, far from luxury. Pool area, which on any cruise is the most populated area, lacks service and has a DJ until 3 PM. Makes no sense. Entertainment venues are a joke! Complete disappointment and definitely not worth the money!
