We chose the Rhine Cruise because of my German roots. Arriving in Amsterdam was an eye opener with all of the bicycles. Our walking tour of the city was alot of fun. Off we went the next day to Kinderdijk to see the windmills. We were lucky enough to get a demonstration. Each stop had a choice of adventures to go on. The gothic churches and buildings are a great history lesson. The simple way of life and local foods are wonderful. You are never board. Sitting on the top deck as we traveled the Rhine and viewed all the castles was breathtaking. The crew is amazing, friendly and very accommodating. You will never go hungry on a Viking river cruise. The food and service is Amazing. Our on board October Fest was delicious and fun. Not only are the viking crew the best, we made lifetime friends. I want to go again!
