Everyone who told me about Viking river cruises had nothing but praise for Viking. They were right. Viking was attentive to every detail. I never felt adrift. The accommodations were excellent. The food was way beyond expectations. The excursions were first class. Everyone in the crew treated me with respect, professionalism, good humor, and kindness. I knew I was in good hands when someone from Viking met my daughter and me at the airport. Our first port of call was Regensburg, Germany. What a magnificent city. We had three excursions there. They were informative, entertaining, and well-paced. The same can be said for Passau, Vienna, and Budapest. We were always in good hands. We also met some wonderful fellow passengers. Two of them will remain good friends. I will definitely be going on another Viking river cruise. The ease of scheduling as well as the variety of cruises will make it a simple matter of deciding when and where. I look forward to it.
