I chose this as the best way to see the incredible Kimberley area of north west Australia which is difficult to visit by land. The incredible geology, wildlife and four days of snorkeling were a real highlight for me. Perfect visibility in warm water, swimming in an aquarium sensation and live coral everywhere. The safety and support for all in the water was terrific. Special thanks to the crew member who rescued my personal snorkel when I jumped in on one of our last snorkels! Everyone was carefully monitored and even absolute beginners were assisted. Expeditions were well executed. The cabin was well designed and a peaceful haven after very busy days exploring. Meals were varied and service good. Nothing was too much trouble with a request for a return of the brilliant chocolate brownies met!

This cruise is my second with Coral Expeditions and their newest ship, the Coral Geographer was excellent with lots of out door shady space. Boarding the covered expedition boats daily from the deck is a breeze. The guest lecturers were very good and a highlight was learning about celestial navigation with Steve! Crew are friendly and very helpful and everyone on board mingles well. Although I was travelling alone as a widow, I never felt anything other than very welcome and included. This is an Australian cruise company with relaxed but very professional service from the Captain (who welcomed us to the open Bridge) to all the staff providing meal service and cleaning. Meg the Expedition Leader was a very good, calm efficient leader as was the Purser Aaron - hats off to all. COVID measures were very good and no one was ill on our cruise. We should be very proud of this Australian cruise company and support it as it provides very good value for money, is run professionally and has high service standards. I strongly recommend going to see the Kimberley or the Great Barrier Reef with Coral Expeditions. Elizabeth

Cabin Review

Generally I travel in a balcony suite but as they were all booked out I had to take a picture window. It was well designed and comfortable with plenty of storage room. The lounge chair with ottoman was very good to read on and many of us admitted to taking an afternoon nap on it! The bathroom was well thought through with an excellent shower and good full sized containers of washing and hair products. The frosted window into bathroom was very good. I felt this cabin was a big improvement on the one I had last year on the CE Coral Discoverer which is an older vessel.
