We have completed an outstanding 10 day “expedition” cruise of the remote Kimberley region of north west Australia with Coral Expeditions, an Australian company not to be confused with Coral Princess. The cruise style was similar to Silversea expedition cruises and in many ways, better.

Our ship, Coral Geographer, carried about 100 passengers in very comfortable cabins with en-suite bathrooms. All passengers were 40+, the majority were older and retired.

We left the ship at least twice every day to view waterfalls, ancient rock art, the stunning, even more ancient Kimberley geology, wildlife, including crocodiles, whales, dolphins, eagles, the astounding Montgomery Reef and to ride through the horizontal falls. Different excursions were offered to suit different levels of fitness: expedition staff were there to ensure safety and lend a hand if needed.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback and for joining us in the Kimberley. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the near future....

Cabin Review

We chose a balcony cabin to have fresh air. The cabin was the same size as the other cabins, but the balcony added a touch of luxury. Plenty of hanging space, functional and spacious bathroom, serviced daily and very well.
