My mother and I had originally booked this cruise with my sister-in-law and her mom as a "Mother/Daughter" cruise. However, they could not go as they were not vaccinated, which was a big disappointment to all.

But my Mom and I managed to have an amazing time visiting Germany, Austria and Hungary. The highlight was the Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany. What an experience! The town itself was so charming and the play was just spectacular.

The ground tours from Viking were so much fun. The guides were knowledgeable and easy to get along with. It was so much information, I'm sure I did not retain all of it - but I did retain the flavor and the beautiful sites and have TONS of photos!

Deluxe Stateroom

The rooms are a bit small, but I get it... on a ship with a maximum passenger count of 190, the rooms are a bit smaller. However, they manage to pack a great deal into those rooms! Everything is efficient and well kept.
