This was our second Viking cruise. We came back because we enjoyed our previous one so much. We were not disappointed. The ship, the crew, the food and rooms were all what we expected. The dining service was really extraordinary on this trip. Everyone really did do their best to meat our desires. The servers we had the most knew our names and what we liked to drink most of the time. We were had a very good time interacting with them. When we did the end of cruise survey they wanted to know if they exceeded our expectations. It was hard for us to give them that because our expectations were very high from our previous cruise.The tour director was great! The itinerary was very good and the optional excursions gave us a good choice in most cities. All the local tour guides except for one were very knowledgeable and gave us a really good feel for the particular excursion that we were on. Their history knowledge was extraordinary. Which we saw a great amount of on this trip. We will differently stay with Viking for future river cruises.
