I originally chose this cruise because I wanted to visit St Petersburg and also because Ambience departed from Tilbury, which is local to me. Unfortunately Russia was removed from the itinerary due to the war in Ukraine but we still visited the Baltic States. I enjoyed relaxing on board with a cocktail or two as well as exploring the various destinations including Copenhagen, Helsinki, Stockholm and Tallin. I booked several excursions with interesting and informative guides which added to the experience. The staff on board were friendly and the service was great as was the entertainment, with different types of music in the various bars in the evenings and the shows in the theatre were exceptional. I also took part in several of the quizzes which were good fun. The food on Ambience was lovely with a varied menu in the main dining room and a good choice in the alternative Borough Market restaurant for those who preferred more casual dining. All in all a great cruise which was very good value for money.
