I have been on 3 different cruise lines with no complaints. This cruise Carnival Freedom was HORRIBLE... the hallways always smelled like poop, people were vaping and security did nothing. 2nd day on the cruise, I went to the buffet area at lunch and was told "we are closed". I was confused as I had just made a 20 min line. The food was there they just didn't want to continue to serve. I had to call a manager who was greeted by alot of hungry and upset people. He was very upset that the worker denied us all food. On day 2 while walking to the elevator a clear plastic light holder fell from the ceiling on my mothers head. We reported it right away. Her blood pressure rosed and was in bed all day. On day 5 my husband inquired about the incident report we requestwd when the accident was reported and mangement had no knowledge of it. We requested for cameras to be viewed only to find out THERE ARE NO CAMERAS IN THE HALLWAYS.. I couldnt believe my ears, i have 3 children, 1 a teenager that was roaming the hallways during the teen club hrs of 8pm to 2am. Also, the DJ only played music for about 2hrs and then there was no music other then guests carrying around speakers themselves. The bed sheets on one of my kids bunk bed was stained yellow. It was disgusting, absolutely disgusting.
