My husband and I have traveled quite a bit and seen much of the world. The northern part of Norway was unknown to us and we chose this itinerary as it was different. We saw many different parts of northern Scotland and the coast of Norway as far north as Nordkappe or North Cape which is as northern as civilization goes.

The Viking Venus is a beautiful vessel with all the amenities one could want and without the annoyance of casinos and young children. The nightly entertainment was quite good with an onboard ensemble whose singing was better than other cruises we have been on and guest performers who also were very professional.

The included shore excursions gave an overview of every port we stopped at. Even when there was a hiccup the staff fixed it quickly and better than the original. Read more
