While the destinations on this cruise were good, this was overall the worst cruise I have ever been on. It got to a point where at times it was uncomfortable and stressful. This continues to weeks after disembarking as they are still currently holding my money hostage. I spent around 250 USD on my stateroom account, which they have charged from my bank. On top of the money they have charged, they have reserved around 600 USD. I have contacted them many times now asking them to release my money, but they are not willing. This is fraud.

I went on 2 tours in Iceland; they were the worst tours I've ever been on. One of them was one of their Discovery Network excursions, the flagship of the trip, The Best of the Golden Circle. This tour was horrible. Extremely unpleasant. The bus was super old and was meant to fit 45 people according to Princess's own website. They somehow managed to fit 75+ people. The legroom was painful, knees pressed against the seat in front of me. There was also no ventilation. Not very pleasant for a super long bus ride. The trip was also meant to include lunch which was a horrible experience. 500 people were rushed into a room that was staffed by around 4-5 waiters. The first dish was shared soup. Yes, shared soup. Big bowl of soup was placed in the middle of a table that we shared with strangers. We were all meant to use the same spoon to serve ourselves. This is during a global pandemic. Not okay. I left when they started serving the soup, as I was not interested in running this extreme and unnecessary risk. This didn't stop the lunch from ruining the trip further though. The understaffed lunch delayed us by a full hour, causing us to miss arrangements that we had made in Iceland. This tour was horrible and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.

Princess has covid arrangements put in place, however, this are not enforced. They ensure you that they have safety regulations but none of these exists as soon as you embark. You will see signs requiring face masks however these rules are not enforced at all. We spoke to senior staff on the ship and they said that it is not possible for them to teach all the old Americans to put on masks and that going on cruises isn't smart if you're worried about covid. This is not okay. If you claim that you have safety regulations, you are promising at least a minimal sense of safety. You should not do that if you are not willing to even try.
